Domestic commonly used quartz crucibles for drawing monocrystalline silicon are 18 inch and 20 inch, and some manufacturers also use crucibles of 22 inch or larger. At present, the 18 inch and 20 inch crucible technologies produced by domestic crucible manufacturers are relatively mature. Its production uses two types of raw materials: quartz sand imported from the United States and high-purity quartz sand domestically. Impurities in its raw materials can cause black spots and bubbles during the high-temperature melting process during production, which have a certain impact on the stability of single crystal silicon during drawing.

At present, the coating technology for crucible production has been widely used by most manufacturers, which involves coating a high-purity quartz sand layer on the surface of a crucible made of ordinary quartz sand to form a dense layer. This dense layer can prevent the reaction between silicon and quartz crucible during the high-temperature drawing process of single crystal silicon, thereby improving the crystallization rate.

Yuniming high-purity quartz sand → high-purity graphite mold → vacuum loading molding → vacuum arc melting → natural cooling demolding → preliminary inspection of quartz crucible → cold processing sandblasting, cutting, chamfering → secondary inspection of quartz crucible → ultra clean cleaning, ultrasonic, high-pressure spraying, automatic drying → tertiary inspection of quartz crucible → vacuum packaging → finished product storage.
